PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat medium conduction roller capable of performing uniform heat treatment of an object to be treated such as a resin film and miniaturizing a heat exchanger and a pump. SOLUTION: A plurality of sealed chambers 13 extending in the longitudinal direction of a roll shell 11 to seal a heat medium 15 having two gas and liquid phases are formed along an outer peripheral face of the roll shell 11 in the inside having a thick wall of the cylindrical roll shell 11, and a heat medium conduction passage 14 is formed in the inside having the thick wall of the roll shell 11 in parallel with the sealed chambers 13 to let heat medium fluid for heating the object to be treated or taking heat out of the object to be treated flow in the heat medium conduction passage 14. Consequently, the object to be treated can be uniformly heated or heat can be taken out of the object irrespective of difference in temperature between inlet and outlet parts for heat medium fluid and flow rate required for reducing difference in temperature can be reduced.
