PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan equipped with a functional filter having dust not easily adhere to a deodorization filter and easy to clean the filter. SOLUTION: A post 2 is erected on a stand base 1 and a slidable slide pipe 3 is provided inside thereof. A motor cover 5 having a fan motor built in via a neck piece 4 exists, and a guard which consists of the motor cover 5, a front guard 7 and a rear guard is attached, and a fan attached to the motor is included in the guard. An optical deodorization filter 10 is attached on a center part of a guard ornament 8 of the front guard 7 and the optical deodorization filter 10 is arranged with positioning at only a front side of a center part of the fan 6.
