The device is designed as a vertically positioned box of an appropriate size and is fitted with a vertically sliding door serving as the front panel an facilitating a refilling with teabags. The bags stacked in a horizontal position on top of each other are individually released at the bottom into a small drawer of exactly the size of a single teabag. The drawer can be pulled to the front and is automatically filled with the next item when the teabag has been removed. Different drawers can be used with different sizes of teabags. The dispenser can be designed as a revolving device.
