A loudspeaker includes a frame connected to a magnetic circuit having a magnetic gap and a diaphragm having an outer circumference connected to the frame and connected around a voice coil embedded into the magnetic gap. A communication groove is provided for communicating a void portion formed between the rear surface of the diaphragm and the inner part of the voice coil, with outside. Thus, it is possible to shorten the air flow route on the diaphragm rear surface so as to reduce the air flow resistance and accordingly, to increase the reproduction sound pressure of the low range.
