PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus being capable of miniaturizing a product by removing a space for mounting an optical low-pass filter and being easily removed. SOLUTION: In the solid-state imaging apparatus, a semiconductor chip 1 with a formed solid-state imaging device is housed in a box body 2 having an opening 2a in an upper section, the opening 2a is closed by a cover glass 3, the optical low-pass filter 6 is arranged on the cover glass 3, and a holder 7 integrally holding the optical low-pass filter 6 and the box body 2 is fitted. In the solid-state imaging apparatus, the holder 7 is formed in a structure having a cylinder 8 holding the optical low-pass filter 6 on the inside and an outer-peripheral hold-down 9 extended along the outer peripheral surface of the box body 2 from the periphery of the cylinder 8, and a notch 2b and a pawl 9a mutually engaged with the mutually opposed surfaces of the outer-peripheral hold-down 9 and the box body 2 are formed.
