FIELD: processes and equipment for wet dust trapping, possibly in chemical, textile, food making and other industry branches for scrubbing dust-laden gases. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding contaminated gas flow through inlet branch pipe arranged in housing; placing one cut-end portion of branch pipe with gap relative to surface of liquid in reservoir; creating strike of gas flow and liquid surface for generating gas-liquid suspension; withdrawing gas-liquid suspension to liquid phase separator; removing liquid drops from gas flow and passing it to discharge branch pipe; draining sludge through pipe in bottom of housing. Contaminated gas flow fed through inlet branch pipe is separated by two gaseous coaxial flows. Outer part of gas flow is twisted in guides for providing vortex flow to be discharged over liquid surface along tangent line to said surface. Inner part of gas flow is used for striking upon liquid surface and forming gas-liquid suspension. Apparatus for scrubbing air with inner circulation of liquid includes housing, branch pipe for inlet of dust-laden gas and branch pipe for discharging cleaned gas, reservoir with liquid, washing out jet and pipe for draining sludge. Branch pipe for inlet of dust-laden gas includes cylindrical portion joined with coaxially arranged inner and outer cone branch pipes, said branch pipes are mutually joined by means of screw like guides arranged between inner surface of outer cone branch pipe and outer surface of inner branch pipe. Small bases of branch pipes are turned to side of cylindrical portion of branch pipe and large bases of branch pipes are turned to reservoir with liquid at forming gap "d" relative to liquid surface. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability of dust trapping process. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
