<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination unit for funeral service and ancestral worship that enhances solemn religious feeling as the illumination unit for funeral service based on the tradition of Buddhism and a further a religious luster effect realizing a subtle sound or the fluctuation of a soul of a deceased who attains the Buddahood. <P>SOLUTION: A method of forming an illumination unit 1 for funeral service comprising steps for: setting a transparent or translucent cylinder 3 of which the top is covered with a cap 2, and making the cylinder 3 stand upright on a base 4 in which light sources are contained, and disposing a luster pipe 9 in the cylinder 3; fixing the loop-like and terminated luster tube 9 so as to stand upright on the base 4; forming light sources with a pair of light-emitting diodes 11a, 11b that have multi-color lighting functions; and making each face of both ends of the luster pipe 9 contacts with each light-emitting face of the light-emitting diodes 11a, 11b; and changing lighting colors in the luster pipe 9 by causing the interference of colored light transmitted from each of the light-emitting diodes 11a, 11b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
