PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence with an intruder detection function which has little possibility of damaging optical fibers for detection in accordance with intrusion detection and can reduce required optical fiber length even in a fence of a long distance and detect an intruder to specify an intrusion place. SOLUTION: The fence with an intruder detection function is provided with a net extended and fixed to the frame body of the fence, the optical fibers extended over the extending direction of the fence and a light projection/light reception analyzing device connected to end parts of the optical fibers, wherein the net is extended while flexibly deforming frame bodies toward the inside of a section for each of a plurality of sections, the optical fibers which are sequentially arranged in a plurality of sections to be attached along frame bodies located at least at an upper edge side of the fence, and the light projection/light reception analyzing device is configured so as to project light from its one end to an optical fiber, receive scattered light generated at a place subjected to deformation that does not reach damage in the optical fiber from one edge side to detect that the optical fiber is deformed and calculate distance to the place.
