PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding head device in which an operation time is reducible. SOLUTION: Welding heads 211, 221 of a welding machine 1 have a circular welding face which is enclosed with a protruding outer edge and is constituted of a plane. The welding head 211 is secured to welding head bases 212, 222 to be driven by air cylinders 213, 223. When the welding machine 1 receives a wiring board for inner layers 40, the welding machine 1 drives the air cylinders 213, 223 and moves the welding faces of the welding heads 211, 221 until closely adhering to a surface of the wiring board for inner layers 40. The welding heads 211, 221 are melt a part of an epoxy resin impregnated in a prepreg 42, so as to correspond to the welding face by heating and pressing the wiring board for inner layers 40. Also, the melted epoxy resin is prevented from flowing out from the end of the wiring board for inner layers 40 by the outer edge, and the melted epoxy resin is cured to weld the prepreg 42 to a both-face wiring board 41.
