PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which can accurately acquire and manage photography person information for identifying the photography person of an image by a simple configuration, and to provide a retrieving system, a method of attaching the photography person information, and a program for attaching the photography person information. SOLUTION: The digital camera includes an imaging means for performing the photoelectric transformation of light converged from a predetermined visual field and photographing the image; an operating means for outputting an operation guidance signal for starting or performing the predetermined processing based on the operation of an operator; an output means for outputting the image information of the image photographed by the image pick-up means, and notice information including a content which demands an input of the photography person information from the photography person of the image; a photography person information input means for inputting the photography person information; a matching means for matching the photography person information that it is inputted by the photography person information input means, and the image information outputted from the output means; and a storage means for storing the above photography person information and the image information together with the result associated with the above matching means.
