PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective removal method of laminating resin by heating from aluminum chips or aluminum cans laminated with the laminating resin on the surface. SOLUTION: In this method, aluminum chips or pressed aluminum cans are opened and cut as pre-treatment to control apparent bulk density to 0.3g/cm3or less, then treated in an oxygen atmosphere at the aluminum melting point or below and at the decomposition temperature of the laminating resin or higher. In this laminating resin removal method, 70% or more of the laminating resin can be removed without oxidizing/fusing the surface of aluminum in a treating time of 30 minute or less.
