<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a two dimensional image in a stereoscopic and natural manner by employing a simple method without using a special filter or special glasses. <P>SOLUTION: The image reproducing device of this invention has a layer generating section and a display control section. The layer generating section takes out image data representing the two dimensional image and generates a plurality of image data of the layer which is a partial image of the two dimensional image. The display control section superimposes the plurality of the layers and displays them on a monitor. While displaying the plurality of the layers, the display control section changes at least any of the move distance, the expanding and reducing rate, the amount of vibration and the amount of rotation for every layer.
