PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a mold, and a forming mold capable of setting the arranging direction of a recessed part or a projection part of the mold in the desired direction. SOLUTION: A mark 112 for indicating the arranging direction on design of the recessed part, is formed in advance on a base material 10 of the forming mold. This mark 112 is imaged by an imaging means 34, and dislocation between the indicating direction of the mark 112 and the moving direction of a Y stage 42 and an X stage 43 of a jig 4 is detected. When the dislocation is a predetermined value or more, an inclination of the base material 10 is adjusted by rotatingly driving a rotary stage body 442 of a rotary stage 44 of the jig 4.
