<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system for preventing overheat of a motor in which motor temperature can be estimated exactly. <P>SOLUTION: The system for preventing overheat of a motor comprises parameters 11a constituted of previously measured values or formula of saturation temperature and time constant for the current I of a motor 4, a program 11b for operating the relation between the time for conducting a current I by applying the parameters 11a and the temperature, a means 8 for sampling/holding the current I at a predetermined sampling period and updating it sequentially, a means 9 for reading and determining the parameters from an ROM 11 depending on the value of the current I, a means 14 for estimating the temperature of the motor 4 through operation using the determined parameters 11a, the program 11b and the value of the current I, a means 6 for interrupting the current I when the temperature of the motor 4 estimated by the motor temperature estimating means 14 exceeds a set limit, and a means 15 for determining overheat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
