The vehicle sun visor (10) has screening body (20) which has recess on its surface and a mirror unit (30) is fixed to the body. A mirror (31) with a mirror cover (40) is arranged which is so designed as to cover and uncover the mirror. The mirror cover slides through opening which is adjacent to recess in screening body and can be moved in defined internal space in screening body in order to expose the mirror. A spring element is so arranged and designed that it subjects the mirror cover to a compressive force in the direction away from reflector surface of the mirror, for pressing the mirror cover against the edge section of the opening and a section lying adjacent to the edge section.
