PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic image detector and a radiographic image detection system, capable of reducing the electric power consumed in a photographic stand-by mode, while simplifying the switching operation, capable of saving electric power and of prolonging the service lifetime. SOLUTION: This radiographic image detector 1 for detecting irradiated radiation for acquiring radiographic image information is provided with a communication part 28 communicating with external equipment, and a state control part 29 for controlling a plurality of drive modes that differ in electric power consumptions, based on the communication state signal for expressing the communication state of the communication part 28 in image transfer.
