<p>A number of interchangeable contact rollers with differing diameters is made available for use in the grinding machine, to carry the belt. Equipment is provided for optimum adjustment of belt tension, independently of contact roller (112) diameter. Mechanical adjustment is provided, based on: a gas spring, mechanical spring, coil spring, or an externally-operated eccentric or spindle. Grindings are intercepted by a coolant-filled tank, e.g. containing water.</p> |
