A luggage rack 4 for a pick-up truck 1 which is fixed to the roll bar 5, 6 and comprises five or six rails which provide tie down points to carry luggage safely and securely above the loading bay out of the airflow. Preferably the rack 4 locks into the first roll bar 5 which also acts as a pivoting point to lift the rack 4 and access the loading bay underneath. The rack 4 may rest above the loading bay so that it does not interfere with the bay or any cover or door that may be fitted. The rack 4 may be made from square box section steel, aluminium, carbon fibre or any combination of these materials. Additional spring-loaded locking pins are provided for securing the rack 4 to roll bar 6. |
