Calender

摘要

The calender has at least two rollers which together form a nip and of which one is constructed as a heated roller which has an inductive heating unit. The heating unit (12) outside of the nip (7) acts upon an area of the heated roller (3) which in operation is covered by a material web (6) passing through the nip. The heating unit is installed in front of the nip, and has a deflection roller (10) which guides the material web in front of the heating unit onto the periphery of the heated roller.
