PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation electric heating element to be embedded in a base of a small electric heater. SOLUTION: The radiation electric heating element is made of a long narrow ribbon (12) of conductive material and this long narrow ribbon (12) has an opposed first long edge (16) and second long edge (18), and is supported vertically on a base (8) of heat and electric insulating material in the electric heater by this first long edge (16). A plurality of conductive fins (20) which are separated mutually with a spacing along substantially its length are provided at the second long edge (18) of the long narrow ribbon (12) and forms a conductive band with varying height (H).
