PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain wallpaper which has neither elongation nor warpage by water, excellent dimensional stability, is separated and peeled in uniform thickness between layers of sheetlike substrates (backing paper) in repairing and in which new wallpaper is simply pasted to a wall member without substrate treatment. SOLUTION: The wallpaper is mixed paper comprising a sheetlike substrate in which a mixed middle layer obtained by intertangling 40-70 wt.% of a plastic fiber with 60-30 wt.% of natural pulp and bonding them is laid between a mixed upper layer and a mixed lower layer each obtained by intertangling 15-30 wt.% of a plastic fiber with 85-70 wt.% of natural pulp and bonding them in a three-layer constitution.
