<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a misalignment measuring method which enables the precise measurement of a misalignment of an image outputted on both sides of a sheet, a misalignment correction device capable of precisely correcting image misalignment outputted on both sides of the sheet, and a misalignment correction program. <P>SOLUTION: The misalignment measuring method outputs an image and a first index indicating a reference position of the image on a first side of a sheet and outputs a second index indicating a position corresponding to the reference position on the second side of the sheet by an image output devices. By measuring misalignment between the first index and the second index by using the sheet on which the image is outputted, the method can accurately measure image misalignment outputted on both sides of the sheet including the influence of coloring materials used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
