PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake lever which can be easily handled by even a person having small hands with a simple design, in a cycle handle bar to which the brake lever is attached. SOLUTION: The handle bar 19 attached to a handle stem of the cycle, comprises a bar body portion 25, a pair of supporting wall portions 26a, 26b, a first slit, and the brake lever 28. The bar main body is a hollow article attached to the handle stem. The pair of supporting wall portions is extended in a longitudinal direction inside of the bar main body portion, and disposed to space in a width direction. The first slit opens between the pair of the supporting wall portion. The brake lever comprises a lever element 36 having a brake operating portion 42 extending outward through a rocking supporting portion rockably attached to the pair of the supporting wall portions and the first slit, and disposed so as to separate from the bar main body portion; and a brake cable locking portion 38 disposed at the lever element between the rocking supporting portion and the brake operating portion outside of the bar main body portion.
