摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer film which is suitable for image display devices such as a liquid-crystal display device, in which optical anisotropy is small and the film is substantially optically isotropic, optical characteristic is homogenous without unevenness, and preferably the wavelength-dependent optical anisotropy distribution is small. <P>SOLUTION: This polymer film wherein a ratio R (VT/VM) of velocity of width direction VT and velocity of longitudinal direction VM is 1.05-1.50 and an in-plane retardation Re and a thickness-direction retardation Rth satisfy following formula (I).
