PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for a fence, and the fence, which have high rust resistance. SOLUTION: A pair of nuts 4 and 4 is provided in the two upper and lower places of the support 1, 1 and a nut 4 makes furring strips 2 fixed to the support 1, by means of a band 6 and the like. The nut 4 is fixed to the side surface of the support 1 by welding and the like, and a hole and the like are not formed in the support 1. A through-hole 41, which is formed in the side surface of the nut 4, penetrates a female-screw hole 40 from the side surface, and reaches a side surface on the opposite side. The whole of the support 1 is subjected to plating working, including the nut 4. Even the hole 40 is surely subjected to plating treatment by the through-hole 41. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
