Device has positive connection between setscrew and steering housing (2). Cavity (20) is formed between set screw and steering housing by rotationally not symmetrical outer contour of set screw in an area lying above its outer thread and rotationally not symmetrical inner contour of housing bore in an area lying above its inner thread facing set screw. Cavity is moldable with a plastic material (23). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Rack and pinion steering; and (B) Method for the assembly of the device.
