PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the positional correction of the top 17a of the tip of a soldering iron possible when the tip 17 of the soldering iron is worn and changed on automatic soldering using a four-axle drive soldering apparatus. SOLUTION: An eccentricity registering process by which the eccentricity of the top 17a of the tip of the soldering iron to the R-axis is calculated and registered on a controller 5, is performed before starting soldering. In a teaching register, a soldering point is registered as the position of the top 17a of the tip of the soldering iron to the R-axis and, in the execute phase of soldering, the position of the R-axis corresponding to the soldering point is calculate by using the eccentricity of the top 17a of the tip of the soldering iron from the position of the top 17a of the tip of the soldering iron which is registered on the teaching registration and the arm 2 is controlled so as to be in the calculated position of the R-axis.
