PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a resin composition which improves surface smoothness and remarkably improves the failure of filler dispersion (white foreign substances on the surface of a molded article) causing the failure of coating adhesion while maintaining excellent heat resistance, impact resistance and linear expansion coefficient in the polyamide-polyphenylene ether alloy resin reinforced with an inorganic filler, and furthermore remarkably improves the productivity as well on production, and its composition and molded article. SOLUTION: The method for producing a thermoplastic resin composition composed of (a) a polyamide, (B) a polyphenylene ether, and (C) at least two types of wollastonite having different aspect ratios comprises feeding the wollastonite having a smaller aspect ratio together with the polyamide.
