PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check soundness of communication while reducing time and effort of a user. SOLUTION: An AP 4 of this communication system is provided with an antenna 46 for acquiring the positional information of a terminal 5 from the arriving direction of a radio wave to be received from the terminal 5; and a position checking function 43 for correlating the acquired positional information with the MAC address of the terminal 5 included in authentication information received in accessing from the terminal 5 to an authentication server 2 and registering them into a MAC address-positional information management table 30, and determining the accessibility on the basis of the MAC address stored in the MAC adress-positional information management table 30 and the positional information when the terminal 5 accesses a apparatus on a LAN1 after authentication.
