<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition having excellent mechanical characteristics, flame retardance, oil and abrasion resistances. <P>SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition comprises 100 pts.mass of a resin component and 100-300 pts.mass of magnesium hydroxide. The resin component contains 22-85 mass% of at least one kind selected from an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified polyolefin, an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified ethylene-vinyl acetate polymer, an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified ethylene-(meth)acrylic ester copolymer, an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified styrenic copolymer, an ethylene-(meth)acrylic acid copolymer and an ethylene-(meth)acrylic ester-(meth)acrylic acid copolymer, 10-75 mass% of polypropylene, 0-65 mass% of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, 0-20 mass% of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and/or an ethylene-(meth)acrylic ester copolymer, 0-40 mass% of a styrenic elastomer and 0-20 mass% of a softener for rubbers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
