BROADCAST SPLITTER ENABLING SELECTIVE TRANSMISSION IN REAL TIME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast splitter enabling selective transmission in real time.

SOLUTION: The broadcast splitter comprises: a PID filter module for receiving an MPTS, distributing and outputting MPEG-2TS contained in the MPTS by PID filtering; a large number of buffers each for respectively storing the MPEG-2TS outputted from the PID filter to adjust an input speed; a TS switch for fetching and switching the MPEG-2TS from the large number of buffers to split the switched MPEG2-TS to subscribers; PCR correction modules for each subscriber each of which performs PCR correction for synchronization on the MPEG-2TS from the TS switch to the subscribers; and a controller for controlling switching operation of the TS switch based on channel selection information of each subscriber.
