PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless packet communication method and a wireless packet communication apparatus capable of ensuring impartiality between uplink traffic and downlink traffic when each wireless station carries out carrier sensing prior to transmission of wireless packets, autonomously discriminates the propriety of transmission and transmits the wireless packets. SOLUTION: In the wireless packet communication method employed for communication wherein a plurality of wireless stations are wirelessly connected to one base station and the base station and each wireless station employ wireless channels discriminated to be free by means of carrier sensing to transmit data packets, the base station continuously transmits data packets whose destination is each wireless station without carrying out the carrier sensing when the base station acquires a transmission right of the wireless channels by means of the carrier sensing.
