PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus system incorporating both a slave device preventing occurrence of a live lock and a slave device which has a risk of occurrence of a live lock but can be preferentially used by a master device of high priority. SOLUTION: A bus arbiter 3, when a plurality of master devices make bus use requests, decides a master device to which a bus use right is given according to fixedly determined priority. Some slave devices among slave devices 2-1 to 2-n, if a processing request is sent form a certain master device 1-i while executing processing according to a processing request from another master device 1-j, hold the master number of the master device 1-i, and after completion of processing according to the processing request, decide a preferential master device whose processing request will be preferentially accepted next according to the held master number.
