PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of noise due to suction of babble generated at an early stage of start in relation to a compressor including oil compatible with refrigerant in a hermetic vessel. SOLUTION: Oil 108 compatible with refrigerant is stored at a bottom part in the hermetic vessel 102. An electric element 103 composed of a stator 104 and a rotor 104a, and a compression element 103 driven by the electric element 103 and including a refrigerant suction opening 110 opening in the hermetic vessel 102 are stored.
