PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and accurately prepare a structural analysis model divided with meshes having substantially uniform shape and size based on CAD data of a structural analysis object. SOLUTION: The structural analysis model preparation system comprises a parallel line detection means 9 for detecting the presence of parallel lines formed by extending two shape lines in parallel based on the CAD data, a parallel line elimination means 10 for selecting one of both shape lines and eliminating the data when the interval between both shape lines detected by the parallel line detection means 9 is smaller than a reference value, a shape line data storage means 11 for storing the shape line data remaining from the elimination of one of the shape lines constituting the parallel lines, and a mesh data preparing means 12 for preparing mesh data based on the shape line data stored in the shape line data storage means 11.
