PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always surely assure the maximum storage capacity of waste toner by preventing maldistribution of the waste toner within a collection device main part which collects and stores the waste toner. SOLUTION: The waste toner collection device is applied to an image forming apparatus 10 comprising cleaning equipment 126 to 127 for cleaning a photoreceptor drum 121 by removing the waste toner T remaining on the photoreceptor drum 121 after transferring the toner image formed on the photoreceptor drum 121 to a paper sheet P and is equipped with the collection device main part 30 for storing the removed waste toner T, and a stirring means 40 to stir the waste toner T recovered into the collection device main part 30. The top face of the collection device main part 30 comprises a loading port 372 for loading the waste toner T, and the stirring means 40 comprises a rocking member 41 provided in a position facing the loading port 372 to rock the the stirring means and a driving means 43 for rocking the rocking member 41.
