PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tread, having an excellent hardness, and improved with the processability and grip performance of a tire, and the tire consisting of the same. SOLUTION: This rubber composition for the tread is provided by containing 30-80 pts.wt. silica having <150 m<SP>2</SP>/g BET specific surface area and≤10 pts.wt. carbon black based on 100 pts.wt. rubber component consisting of an epoxidized natural rubber.
