<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgery support system capable of obtaining a rendering image to allow an operator to easily observe a target internal organ according to the content of the operation without making it hard to observe the target internal organ because an internal organ in the periphery of the target region for the surgery is superimposed and displayed on the image of the target internal organ. <P>SOLUTION: The surgery support system 1 is structured to display virtual intracavitary image data in the periphery of the target region for the surgery based on medical image data. The surgery support system 1 comprises a control part 25 of a virtual image generating part 11 as a filtering means for making the observation of the target internal organ easy by filtering the medical image data and erasing or palely displaying internal organs other than the target internal organ, and a control part 20 of a system controller 10 as a control means for commanding/controlling the filtering process executed by the control part 25 of the virtual image generating part 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
