摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording material which has high absorption and color developing properties of a pigmented ink without generating a craze in a surface layer and also, has a faint gloss. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording material has a pigment layer and at least one ink acceptance layer composed mainly of an inorganic ultrafine particle with not more than 500 nm average secondary particle diameter, formed on at least one surface of a paper support and 15 to 40% glossiness. Not less than 50 vol.% of the gross volume of an inorganic pigment contained in the pigment layer, have 1.2 to 15 &mu;m particle diameter. In addition, the ink acceptance layer contains a fine particle with 0.5 to 8 &mu;m average secondary particle diameter, a hydrophilic binder, and a boric acid or a borate, and the content of the fine particle is equivalent to not more than 5 to 35 mass% of the inorganic ultrafine particle. Besides, the dry coating weight of the ink acceptance layer is equivalent to 20 to 120 mass% of the dry coating weight of the pigment layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
