<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing device for obtaining a driving speed of a controlled object quickly based on a signal from an encoder. <P>SOLUTION: Positional information signals (Asinθ, Acosθ), outputted from a sensor according to a driving point of a motor are processed and the driving speed of the motor, is detected. The signal processing device comprises a positional information signal processing section 410 for processing the positional information signals and calculating driving speed information of the motor, and an internal positional information producing section 460 for producing the latest estimated position of the motor as internal positional information reflecting the latest driving speed information ω<SB>n</SB>calculated by the positional information signal processing section 410. The positional information signal processing section 410 calculates the driving speed information ω<SB>n</SB>of the motor, based on the difference between the positional information signals (Asinθ, Acosθ), outputted from the sensor and the internal positional information (Asinθ<SB>n</SB>, Acosθ<SB>n</SB>) generated by the internal positional information producing section 460. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
