PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple and safe information equipment for enabling a valid user to easily use information equipment, and for preventing any invalid user from using the information equipment. SOLUTION: Conditions for this information equipment to be enabled or conditions for this information equipment to be disabled are set, and the set contents are recorded as state shift condition setting data 152 in an SRAM 150. As for the conditions to be enabled, the concrete set contents shows that the information equipment is connected to a cable network, and connected to a device of a prescribed host IP address, and that network path information is a prescribed path, or that a prescribed password has been inputted.
