PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unidirectional microphone unit in simple structure which undergoes drip-proofing without spoiling basic performance such as unidirectivity. SOLUTION: The unidirectional microphone unit which has a sound introduction hole in the front and a directional hole in a flank is characterized in that the sound introduction hole and directional hole are covered with water-proof cloth having specified air permeability and water resistance. The water-proof cloth is bonded to the microphone unit with a both-sided adhesive tape having an adhesion portion surrounding the sound introduction hole and directional hole.
