The invention relates to an electromotive servodrive for vehicles with a housing cover tightly obturating the interior of a housing at a housing opening. Said housing cover projects in at least one edge section into the housing opening and is fastened to the edge or flange of the opening surrounding the housing opening with a flange projecting away beyond the edge of the cover. A sealing ring encloses the edge section and is disposed between the edge section and an inner surface of the housing. The invention is characterized in that the edge section is spaced apart from the inner surface of the housing. A plurality of notches or projections is provided on the edge section for securing the sealing ring.
