An input device is equipped with a changeover switch (20) for the play function and has at least one housing (10) on which the switch (20) is provided with a display light (30) and a number of control keys (40). A microcontroller (50) is electrically connected to the switch (20) and the display light (30) and memorizes the play mode. By actuating the changeover switch (20) the microcontroller switches over the play mode and the corresponding display light lights up.
