PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with an anti-dust mechanism for removing dust adequately while attachment of dust onto an image conversion element can be prevented beforehand, and to provide an imaging device and a projection device. SOLUTION: A protection glass 1009 as an oscillation member is provided on an image conversion element 1007, and a flow at air near to the protection glass 1009 is caused by a movable member 1005. The dust 102 coming off the protection glass 1009 through the oscillation of the protection glass 1009 is kept away from the protection glass 1009 through the air flow caused by the movable member 1005.
