PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish communication with only the communications terminal that a user has intended. SOLUTION: An IC tag sensor 19 detects a radio signal sent from an IC tag 2 fitted to a camera 10. An IC tag reader 20 reads camera information, previously recorded in the IC tag 2 out of the radio signal that the IC tag sensor 19 detects. The read-out camera information is temporarily stored in a RAM 21. When transition to a registration mode is instructed by pressing a registration button 209, transition to the registration mode is made. A processing section 17 decides whether a communication interface 76 of a camera 10 and a communication interface 77 of a printer 200 are able to communicate, by referring communicable state information included in the camera information stored temporarily to the RAM 21. When it is decided that the interfaces can communicate, a camera ID included in the camera information stored in the RAM 21 is extracted from the camera information and is stored to a storage section 16.
