PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the handling of various kinds of data in an electronic endoscope system. SOLUTION: Prescribed image processing is executed to image data outputted by a CCD 16 in a preceding stage signal processing circuit 251 and they are stored in an image memory 252 as photographed image data. A conversion circuit 62 converts character information such as the identification information of a patient outputted by a keyboard 60 from a character code to image data. A second CPU 26 converts the photographed image data in the image memory 252, image data outputted by a biological information monitor 40, image data outputted by an X-ray apparatus 50 and the image data outputted by the conversion circuit 62 to the same data form (bitmap form for instance) and integrates them into one file.
