At least two stacked accumulators are fitted in car, particularly utility vehicle with chassis of frame type. Lowermost accumulator (22) is slidable horizontally and can be pulled out under top accumulator (24) on its top, at least partly. Lowermost accumulator can be set onto foldable support (49) in its pull-out position. Preferably foldable support contains step for boarding vehicle. Typically, both accumulators (22,24) are located in housing frame (18) secured to frame section of vehicle. Topmost accumulator sits on holding platform firmly anchored in housing frame.
