<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage gas generator for an airbag with reduced overall size and weight. <P>SOLUTION: The two gas generator 20, 25 and a filter 30 are housed in an outside housing 40 having an outside gas discharge port 32.
