<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information detection device which is improved in information detection accuracy by arranging an excitation coil so that the direction of magnetic flux of the excitation coil and the longitudinal direction of a magnetic material may become nearly parallel and applying the magnetic material to a substrate in detecting substrate's information corresponding to the magnetic material by detecting the change of a magnetic field by applying the magnetic material to the substrate and giving the magnetic field to the substrate from the excitation coil, and to provide a method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In the information detection device which detects the change of the magnetic field by applying the magnetic material to the substrate and giving the magnetic field to the substrate from the excitation coil and detects the substrate's information corresponding to the magnetic material, the excitation coil is arranged so that the direction of the magnetic flux of the excitation coil and the longitudinal direction of the magnetic material may become nearly parallel and the magnetic material is applied to the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
